Parenting Education Seminar
If you have minor children together, you must complete a court-approved parenting program before the Court can make a decision on your request for custody or parenting time. You can register for the program at https://www.divorce-education.com/oh/cuyahoga/.
The Center for Divorce Education's “Children in Between” online program is the Court's only approved provider of the education. It focuses on building a healthy co-parenting relationship and improving outcomes for your children.
You do not need a court order to take the course, and classes are available completely online.
The course is available in Spanish (el curso es accessible en Español) at https://online.divorce-education.com/es.
File your Certificate of Completion
Once you complete the course, you will get a Certificate of Completion that you can download and print.
You must file the Certificate of Completion with the Clerk of Courts two weeks before your final hearing.
You are responsible for filing the Certificate with the Clerk to make sure that it's entered into the case record.
